Here you can read three of our fun Diddy Bots storybooks online as a taster of what's inside! Perfect for reading on a computer, interactive whiteboard, or tablet
Important Note:
Before reading:
Make sure the reader has been given all of the sounds, and principles of blending or decoding words. As well as the phonetically correct words in these books there will also be some tricky or sight words that must be introduced before reading.
Reading fingers:
Always reinforce the use of the reading finger, even with stronger students. Encourage them to point to each sound as they read to enhance tracking and word recognition.
Question everything:
When reading our Diddy Readers, always ask questions about what they students can see, what they think might happen next, and what the actual outcome was. This helps to keep things engaging and interactive. Early readers may not have the ability to comprehend complex storylines, but by incorporating the Diddy Bots, we can still make reading fun, ignite their love for reading, and nurture their desire to read more.
